About Us

Welcome to First Lutheran Church!

One of the things that makes First Lutheran such a great congregation is the diversity of our worship experiences. For those looking for a contemporary experience, you can join us on the first and third Saturday of each month at 6:00pm for a wonderful upbeat service with our praise band. This service is relaxed and has a “come as you are” spirit to it. For those who are looking for a more traditional service, you can join us for the 10:00am service on Sundays for a liturgical setting combined with some blended worship aspects such as hymns, gospel, and praise music. As always our outstanding music program led by Minister of Music Paul Martin will be providing special music at the services, from choirs to praise teams.

We also offer Bible study opportunities throughout the week, including a Sunday morning class during the Sunday School hour, and a Thursday evening dinner and Bible study (in addition to online study opportunities). We also have an exciting program for kids of all ages on Sunday mornings called the 3G Network where children learn more about their faith and Christianity! Please take a moment to find out about all of the important ministries at First Lutheran Church. God has a place for you here with us! We hope to see you soon! God bless!

What Do We Believe?

The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

What Is Our Mission?

We, the baptized persons of God are called, chosen, and anointed as a mission-driven church, guided by the Holy Spirit, teaching and living out the sacraments as commanded by Jesus. We follow the Gospel by being a worshiping and thankful community which is grounded in the Scriptures, by valuing the worth of each person as we strive to become one family in God, by fostering relationships with God and each other from birth to death, by ministering to the needs of all people, by participating in the global body of Christ through mutual ministries, and by becoming a shining light of hope to the community by actively spreading God’s Word through various ministries of Evangelism.
