Worship & Music


The Music Ministry of First Lutheran Church, directed by our Minister of Worship & Music, Mr. Paul Martin, features many talented and gifted soloists and ensembles.  We invite you to take a look at the various music opportunities for your ministry at First Lutheran Church.

Adult Music Opportunities:
The CELEBRATION CHOIR is open to individuals high school through adult, and sings for Sunday services and other special services.
The ALLELUIA RINGERS (bell choir) is open to individuals high school through adult, and rings for select Sunday services and other special services.
The WORSHIP TEAM is a select group that currently leads Worship on the third Sunday of the month.
A NEW instrumental ensemble is being created for wind players high school through adult, and will be presenting special music and accompanying hymns at select services.
The Adult Music Ensembles are led by Paul Martin.

Children’s Music Opportunities:
The CHILDREN’S CHOIR is open to all children (Kindergarten through 6th Grade), and sings for select Sunday services and other special services.
The CHILDREN’S CHIME CHOIR is open to all children (Kindergarten through 6th Grade), and rings for select Sunday services and other special services.
The Children’s Choirs are led by Sarah Martin.

We have opportunities for instrumentalists through our woodwind and brass ensembles which minister through music at special services throughout the year, and we welcome any individuals or small groups to present special music at our worship services.  If you would like to become involved in the music ministry at First Lutheran, please contact Paul Martin.

Gospel Music Concert Series:
We are bringing back our fantastic Southern Gospel Music concert series which features many of today’s finest gospel music artists.  COMING SOON…

THE KINGSMEN QUARTET – Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 6:00pm, FREE Admission (Love Offering)
TIMOTHY & HOSANNA NOBLE – Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 10:00am Worship
GLORYWAY – Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 6:00pm, FREE Admission (Love Offering)

Audio/Visual Ministry:
We also have opportunities to become involved behind the scenes.  We welcome assistance with our Audio/Visual Ministry which includes running our video projection and sound systems during all of our worship services.  In addition, we also need help with our CD recording ministry. Please contact us if you feel led to join this vital ministry.

Other ways to participate in our Worship experience:
Assisting Ministers, Lectors, Acolytes, Ushers, Greeters, Communion Assistants, Altar Guild, and Custodial Assistants.  If interested in helping in any way, place feel free speak with us – we need your ministry!
